Paramparaa, the stall which Spic Macay, Pantnagar Chapter organizes each year in this mega event with the motive of demonstrating and selling authentic and ethnic Indian goods celebrated its four years of success, this kissan mela. Paramparaa 09-10 brought ingenuities from the farthest corners of the Indian subcontinent.
For us, the executive body members of Spic Macay, Paramparaa every year comes with a package of wonderful moments of fun, frolic and togetherness. this four day festival enhances the spirit of dedication towards the noble cause we work for.

Parampara is a cluster of memoirs we cherish rest of the year. Along with serving the objective of society it furthermore boosts kindling among ‘macaites’. This is the occasion of intermingling of new macaites in society every year..
I went back home just after this parampara. it was the festive season of diwali. i saw a blue and white tent of a sweet shop on my way back, and flashed before my eyes the paramparaa tent which had become an abode for those memorable four days... those treats, mischiefs and pranks, the gelling amidst members, the morning 'parantha' breakfast, the video shoots with commentaries, the moments of silence... the jhoola treat and the best friends i had made... all came back...
parampara is not just a 'feeling'... its much more... a movement 2 go on... a saga above words...

Parampara... my first event as a "MACAITE",was not just a 4 day fest for me, it was a lifetime mmoment thet i lived in those days... it not only gave me the best of friends but the most lovable and admiring seniors.It tought me the teamwork,the zeal and enthusiasm to work together and come out with the best outcome... I'm looking forward to live these moments again the very next year
