A dream that came true...

28th April,2011 was just like any other day. But,SPIC MACAY made it one of the best days of my life. I was too tired and sleepy and was on my way to mess for my lunch, when one of my friend came up to me shouting at the top of her voice,
"You did it"...
You are a part of SPIC MACAY now... And i was awestruck, it was like a dream come true. Being a part of such prestigious society feels awesome.
Today, I am an executive body member of SPIC MACAY Pantnagar Chapter and my first full body meeting held at College of Technology, where we interacted with other members of the society. After this a special moment; bidding farewell to the final year turned up. It was a great feeling, we worked together, decorated the hall, despite having externals on our head. Even this could not stop us from working for MACAY.

There we got the chance to interact with our seniors who were kind of strangers to me at that time, but still i felt some kind of warmth with them... I feel this is the magic of MACAY family. This feel got stronger and stronger with every meeting and made me feel special and proud. It gives me a reason for my existence.

Yes,I am dedicated to SPIC MACAY...
I am contributing to my nation, my culture and awakening the youth in safeguarding our rich and diverse culture...

With the ceaseless efforts of the Chapter members, the Staff Counsellor, and the University Administration, and amalgamated with the patronage of the dozens of Indian classical dance and music forms, the Pantnagar Chapter of SPIC MACAY has had the opportunities to witness some of the greatest living exponents of the traditional Indian art forms. It is our endeavor to help disseminate the best of the Indian classical heritage with its attendant legends, rituals, mythologies and philosophies to young students and professionals.
