 THE MESMERISING “TRIDHARA” PERFORMANCE

Another splendid artist night was organised by SPIC MACAY, Pantnagar chapter in assosciation with Rotary club , Pantnagar,  featuring  ‘TRIDHARA’, an Orissi dance group to enthrall the audiences of Pantnagar. ‘TRIDHARA’ is a dance institution in Orissa which promotes  Debaprasada dance syle across the globe. The main dance styles focused are ‘ardhanariswara’, ‘odia dasavtar’, ‘guru mahatmya’, ‘devi pallavi’, ‘moksha’ and dance drama ‘krishnya thubyan namah’. Leading from front, and one of the pillars, of this dance form is ‘Guru binayak panda’, the director of New Delhi chapter of TRIDHARA.

The night marked up with the lightening of deepshikha by the acting vice chancellor followed by the beautiful dance performance of tridhara which touched the hearts of the audience. The dance form was focused both on installation with divinity and commutation art, in addition to the beautiful expressions and purity through their dance form. Their dance revived the beauty of rich heritage of Indian culture.
It was in deed a mesmerizing artist night that added another feather to the hat of SPIC MACAY, Pantnagar Chapter leaving its marks in audience’s hearts forever.
