PARAMPARAA'12

Reversing the hourglass, turning back the time, all the memories flashed back….
All greatness is achieved while performing outside one’s comfort zone, me, being the 2nd year and new member of SPIC MACAY family, realised the same after the successful completion of our first annual event, PARAMPARAA, the heritage fair at national KISAN MELA, where each day would start with getting up early, going to stall, arranging and setting up broken craft pieces, and the most awaited ‘breakfast time’ with a little ‘paratha’ and too much ‘butter’ , complete with ‘Shambhu bhaiyya’s tea’.

Then it go on to numerous treats , convincing customers, number of random clicks, endless number of pranks on each other and much more…
Finally, we’d retreat back to our hostels with our seniors and friends , with a heart still wishing to stay back.

Remembering those four days now, a sheer wave of emotions and nostalgia runs down my mind , the appreciations , happiness, smiles of visitors, other stall holders made us feel the pride of being a member of such a beautiful family.
With the successful completion of PARAMPARAA’12 , it was for the first time I witnessed such strong bonds of friendship and attachment.
